Nose
Quite strong dark caramel in my opinion not burned but close to the edge. Strong sugary notes, a leather touch. Sour apples and gooseberries. Interesting nose!
Mouth/Palate
Blind I would not have guessed this as 55.4% like Mark already stated: very drinkable. Creamy, honey, burned caramel.
Finish
Burned and somewhat bitter caramel, quite woody and spicy. I though it would go towards a drying finish but it completely turns around into a mouth watering finish! Nice surprise. Some red fruits emerge.
