Nose
Attractive nose with lots of dried fruits of apricots and dates. Orange marmelade. Touch of barley. Beeswax. Butterscotch. Maple syrup. Hints of vanilla and honeyclover.
Mouth/Palate
Sweetness of caramel apples and cake mix. Spices of ginger and cinnamon. Hints of brown sugar I usually associate with American bourbon whisky. Sappy oak. Gingerbread as well. Later on more raisins and rum-toffee.
Finish
Quite long. Resinous. Slightly pepper. Nutmeg. A little clove. Tannines at the end. Well balanced whisky.
