Nose
Typical GG ex-bc nose: citric and tart, but with creamy, waxy touches. A puff of woodsmoke rounds things off.Gooseberry, apricot, lemon zest, chalk, limestone, charcoal and/or soft peat. Water makes it sweeter (corn syrup, honey)
Mouth/Palate
Pretty unforgiving and sour/sharp without water. Definitely needs a drop or two, but even then it retains a high level of heat. Tart, astringent, peppery, and chock-full of citrus: a very particular style... You'll have to water this down to about 40% if you really want to reduce its bite.
Finish
Ginger, white pepper, mango chutney. Still packs a bite.
