GLEN MORAY GLENLIVET

Nose
Herbal, slight mint and honey, with some white fruits coming out after a couple minutes in glass.

Mouth/Palate
Good thickness, somewhat oily in viscosity, with all bunch of wonderful herbs and liqueurs. Honeyed tea. Pears, green apples, a bit of sweet and sour. Not a fruit bomb, but more in the line of a 1973 Speyside. Some compare an old official Glen Moray to an old official Macallan but the latter I think is usually more complex with better expression of fruits and that oh so good peach rose notes.

Finish
Not long but there is lingering herbalness and a bit grassy and hay-like at the end.
