Nose
Juicy sherry in combination with prunes and oranges. Dark chocolate and raisins. Also some old skool dustiness.
Mouth/Palate
Round and rich. Very coffeeish with a harsh spicy edge (nutmeg and black pepper). Stewed fruits of figs and dates. Has some sugary and bitter-sweet characteristics of dark rum as well.
Finish
Long and warming. Nutiness and tannins. Becomes quite bitter at the end.
