Nose
Very lively and bright - a thread of smoke from roasted chestnuts, orange zest, apricot jam, some candlewax, camphor cream, then fruity.
Mouth/Palate
Surprisingly smooth with waxy and fruity notes, mild smoke comes after oranges and raisins. Dry apricots, cherries, figs and a touch of ripe mango. Nice and sweet. Great!, as I was afraid it would have gotten too dry and cardboardy, but no so at all.
Finish
Long, quite long. Fresh and delicate. Marmalade, roasted pecan nuts, marzipan, then citrus fruit notes. Woody yet not dryingly tannic. Lovely cherry jam comes last.
