Nose
Very elegant, nothing out of place, dark jams, dark fruits, a little peat, all in harmony, one of the best noses out there
Mouth/Palate
The oak is singing from the start, the dark fruits mixed with peat are there but they are fighting to be heard. Some spice kicks in but it is also quite bitter, on plum skins, blackcurrant and raisins with the spice coming round again. If you put a few drops of water in it really does open up releasing more sweetness
