Nose
The smell of this whisky is already layered and beautifully balanced, you can clearly smell the influences of the distillery… barley sugars and fruit, candies, oranges and bananas and some tropical fruits, in the background the sherry influences can be discerned.. raisins, figs dates
Mouth/Palate
The taste is wonderfully creamy and pungent.. the taste of tropical fruits and barley returns, but the sherry influences of the barrel are also beautifully interwoven here.. toffee, raisins, figs, dates and chocolate
Finish
The aftertaste is sweet from the fruit which turns into some herbs .. the mouthfeel lasts a long time
