Nose
Stewed fruits of apricots and plums intermingled with polished furniture. Candied apples as well. Some melon. Hints of marzipan. Quite a lot of buttery oak. Pine at the background. Complex and really nice.
Mouth/Palate
Wow, massive punchy mouthfeel. Is this 43%? I got sultanas, figs and dates at first. Followed by orange marmalade and gingerbread. Later on more on Turkish delight. Honey-clover. Spices of cinnamon, caraway and ginger. Whiff of smoke.
Finish
Long. Black pepper and a little nutmeg. Tannins. Searmint at the end. Well balanced.
