Nose
aromatic, dry sherry notes, something of light honey, apples, hint of raisins in cognac, orange, oak. Everything discreet and unobtrusive. The high alcohol content tickles the nose easily.
Mouth/Palate
at the start, slightly fiery, sweetish-tart, with fine notes of a mature dry sherry, light body, bitter oak, light fruitiness, a hint of barrel and coffee.
Finish
initially a hint of tart with oak / tannins, then slightly fruity and sweet with delicate notes of sherry, ending with a hint of apples and malt.
