WATERFORD SINGLE FARM ORIGIN BALLYMORGAN 1.2

Nose
Smells a bit leaner than some of its siblings. All in all, the malty (cereal) and buttery (cookies) touch is there, just as a herban and earthy side (fennel seeds, underwood). There is toffee apple and juicy green fruit (unripe green kiwi). Seems to be a bit peppery too but I can only find out in the mouth.

Mouth/Palate
Fuller than most parts of the nose would suggest. The fullness is shown in notes of toffee, apple pie, honey, cereal bars and dark fruit. The expected spiciness is there: pepper and quite some ginger powder.

Finish
Moderate, and rather earthy and spicy. Dark fruit, oak, underwood, ground coffee and a hint of bitter cocoa. Further, quite some ginger and pepper. Rather drying.
